The first Spotlight event of 2018, held on Thursday, March 22nd in Wilkes-Barre’s THINK Center, was titled “Let’s Get Social.” Our featured speaker was Chris Bohinski, Founder of NYC Smile 4 Me, who spoke about the platform he created to capture the “smile stories” of celebrities on the red carpet and beyond. Our three video spotlights included Ryan Kenton Hertel, Owner/Operator of Socialocca; Jess Ross, Office/Project Manager at CoalCreative.com; and Aislinn Speranza, Vice President of Marketing for Zebra Communications at Wilkes University. The Spotlight program features quarterly events that provide an opportunity for industry leaders, entrepreneurs and students in NEPA to meet, discuss, and identify potential partnerships. Each event features a fifteen-minute presentation from an entrepreneur. Spotlight is coordinated by the Diamond City Partnership and sponsored by Penn State Wilkes-Barre, through the Invent Penn State Initiative.
